Jay!!! My Pewter ate!!

Marcel Poots Aug 12, 2004 04:23 PM

Finally my Pewter ate for me. She had been in this small box since I force fed her on July 29. I offered a pinkie two times but she refused them with a big arrogance.

Well, today about 70 days after hatching she ate a Russian Hamster pink.. Jay!! I am happy..

I know that's a big load off of your mind, Marcel. It's crazy how they'll totally refuse one type of rodent and jump all over another type, isn't it???

Good luck with her!

I know I emailed you a week or so ago about my new bloodreds...well here is the one I was telling you about with the cool head pattern that looks like a ghost face...its too cool. Its from Walt Smiths stock. Also, I threw in a pic of my older bloodred that selectively eats when she wants too. I didn't get a good enough shot of my other new baby blood but she is just as cool. Both new ones are eating like crazy so I couldn't be happier. I got 6 other new corns too (24 total now, 8 2004 babies and the rest are all sub adults- adults)...
here's what I got this season besides the bloods...
1.1 Reverse Okeetees
1.1 Abbott line Okeetees (with super thick black borders)
1 striped amel
1 female butter which has been the reason I've not been online much lately...she has refused every meal, including scented. I was sent a replacement butter which ate for me already! I couldn't be happier right now....and for you too. Once again congrats...now onto the pics.

Jason,

Your older Bloodred that only eats now and then is awesome. She is worth hanging on to.. Great stuff about your new snakes. Post some of your butter when you have the time.
