first i guess i have to wonder why minimum????maybe what is an adequate cage size...well.. theres a big difference in cage size from babies to adults... baby crocs like to jump a lot..so i would say a baby croc might do fine in a 5x5x5 cage for the first 6 months...then maybe a 7x5x7 for a year..then if you can 15 x10x10 might be ok...theres so much to do right with cages...you could have a large cage that just doesn't work...different temps..and different humidity levels..my water seems to be fine living with one of my iguanas in a 4x8x7'high cage...i will say thats too small for me to give them the choices i want to..i have a pair of dumerils in a 4x8x7 and that seems ok....i have 2 crocs 6' long in a 5x8x7 and i need to change that..a bt in a 4x8x7 and that seems ok....a 5' croc in a 5x7x7 and for now it's ok...a 7' croc in a 5x8x7 and that has to be changed soon...they all seem ok although a lot more space is needed..and i plan larger cages soon...billy
