How to get them to eat pellets?

TheDrew1 Aug 12, 2004 08:39 PM

Does anyone feed their dragons pellets? How did you get them to start eating them? Should i mix them in with their greens? Theyd probably still find a way to avoid eating them but just looking for some advice. Thanks

Yeah, I just mix them with the greens. It wasn't difficult with Domo because I started him as a baby, but Ocho took a little work. I tried at first offering the adult sized pellets, and he liked the green ones, but it was too easy for him to pick around the red ones. So I started mashing the red ones into little pieces so he couldn't work around them so easily. Then next time I bought some I just got a big bag of the juvi pellets which are small, and now he just eats them all.
