Yellows are cheaper and not as colorful. I have herd that reds are larger full grown but I don't know if that is true. It is just what you want to spend.

Hi,

It really depends on personal preference...in my experience, yellows get bigger than reds, but the size difference of the ones I have is not that big. I have seen some yellows and some giant Western Race ackies that are really big.

They are both kept under the same conditions, and mine are very similar in temperment, although the yellows might be just a little bit calmer.

I would look around, there are plenty of pics of both out there, even on the KS classifieds, and see what you like and what you want to spend. Reds are currently about double the price of yellows for the most part, but neither are that expensive (I've seen reds for $200 or so and yellows for $100 or a little more).

Hope that helps.
