Blue bulb

mizar 21 Aug 12, 2004 09:40 PM

I use a 50 watt light and a under tank heater for my gecko, my bulb burn off today. Can i use a blue bulb for day too ? Do gecko need a day and night schedule ? I guess so, but can the natural light of the room be enough for that ? Then the normal 50 watt wont hurt his eye ? I mean using the blue bulb heating pad for the day and just the heating pad for the night.

I use a blue night bulb day and night for my leo.I only turn the bulb off if it gets really hot in the house during the day.
