We may not go to Daytona this year, still debating. a 5 hour drive in sunny weather is not much fun but in the rain with storm gusts and all that wind, mmmmmaybe not? If we leave Sat morning we could roll in after the worst of it but still worried about all the bad weather behind it that I have to drive through.

If you go be safe Bennett.. I'm sure though whoever makes it will get some good deals considering a lot of people will not be going now. Many vendors depend on this show for a large part of their sales. Really stinks for them to with the show tickets plain tickets hotels AHHh what a loss. Bummer. If you go good luck..

down and check the post and emails. We have more to do outside in the AM, but all the animals are in including three 5' iguana's that are giving us the stinky eye look, even with fresh bowls on greens they are not happy being brought inside.
Still looks like we are smack in the middle of the landfall area and they have evacuated our beach area earlier, closed down all the bridges at midnight a short time ago.
They also think it will be a catogory 3 storm by the time it reaches here....... hard to imagine something like this is coming as it is so nice and calm out right now 
Will post if we can, power is expected to be lost tomorrow afternoon so may not be online for a bit.

We lucked out with the first one. A few tornados ripped through the northside of Jax. We saw the clouds roll & rumble just past us. pheww!
Now we are getting ready for the big boy. lol They should have named them Bonnie & Clyde, instead of Charlie.
