I was wondering if red tail boas make any sounds.
Mine make quiet, long whistling tones.
Is that normal?

Sounds like it might be a RI infection could be wrong but others might help too.

When I hold my boa, she makes clicking noises. I feared she had an RI, but upon checking with a vet, he said some noises are common. They, obviously, do not have the ability to speak (lol). But! They have a variety of noises from hissing to clicking and a wide range between the two. It's good to know I'm not the only one out there with a boa that is vocal...I'm inclined to think it's just the girls, haha. Hope that helped.
