i am thinkin about making my own rack system for cornsnakes, i have baby corns and i'm worried about leavin space at the top b/c they are escape artists. will it be fine if i leave no space at the top? or should i wait till they are bigger to put in a rack system? Thanks in advance

I have my baby corns in AP racks. There is no tolerance at the top for the boxes. I just drilled (very small) holes in the boxes for ventilation.
