I figured this pairing would be kind of interesting to show you guys. What's strange is that this particular pairing has thrown reddish colored patternless offspring as well as the type shown below.

Day 1 after a bath...not too happy.

About a month old...

Now (6 months old)

She's every bit as bright as dad, but with lots of pattern.

After 10 clutches, that pairing is shut down for the year...maybe next year, though. I had a lot of babies from those two available this year...unfortunately, they don't look much different from a $40 Crested at that age, so unless you really know what to look for, you wouldn't have thought too much of them.

I've got some other babies hatching now that are just as nice, though. Keep an eye on my website in the next week or so.
