Keep your thoughts with those of us in Florida, many in for the scariest ride of their life.

Guess the Daytona show is now out of the question, not even going to try to get there. Evacuation and emergency traffic will have everything at a standstill.

I haven't decided yet. The storm is headed straight for Daytona, so there is going to be damage there, plus traffic will be hell with all the evacuations. I am also on call for emergency response, haven't been called yet, but that remains to be seen.

I had planned on leaving at around 8am in the morning, 3.5hr drive (I-10 over to I-95). Any reports on what 95 looks like with evacuations between Jax and DB?

I am not questioning the storm. I just don't know where the majority of the evacuated people went. Did they go all the way to the east coast and up toward Jax? Also will Daytona have power? Most in the wake of the storm are out of power, how bad will Daytona be damaged. That was more what I would think of as hindering me. I think the actual weather will be long gone.
