Yeah, projections show Hurricane Charley headed right at Daytona after passing through Ft. Myers and Orlando. However, I just got off the phone with The Ocean Center (where the show is being held), and they said the show is still on for tomorrow.

There will be enough hot wind coming out of the Ocean Centre to blow Charley away!

time the show starts. I know here in Brevard, they just started sending out evacuation notices. I live just one hour south of Daytona. It started turning more easterly than expected but it's supposed to be around Orlando at 7:30PM. We'll see in the morning.

Hope everyone is safe! Including our little animal friends.

I am in Miami...I supposed to go up tonight but I decide to hold back and go up with the wife and kids in the morning early...it looks like it should be well pass Daytona by the time I get up there which is opening time...I still thank attendance is going to be hurt by this...at least for 1 day.

of Orlando. We are being hammered. There are downed trees and power outages everywhere. They don't expect this thing to be done until late in the AM. Then they will need to clean it up. If the storm exits Daytona as a category II, I think the Daytona show will open late or at least be severely impacted. Think of all the people trying to get back to where they left. It's not going to be fun.

Had planned on driving over this morning from Tallahassee. Going to wait until tomorrow. Anyone know what the traffic (evacuees) on I-95 is like between Jax and Daytona Beach. That is what I think could be the problem. Any info would be helpful.

Where in Brevard are you? I am located in Melbourne and other than one tree down in the back yard, things went pretty smoothly. Hope everything goes smoothly for you too.

In Port St. John. Just south of Titusville. We lost power and two trees fell - one into our house. I guess I'll be getting to the show late.
