i used tempered glass for the bottom (UTH). plate for the front, melamine for the back and sides. I used 90 degree wood trim on the corners for stability. I made 2 screen lids for the top, and mounted their UV light just inside the top of the tank with 3 aluminum rods that are drilled to the top of the ballist and have notches so they sit on top of the top trim. easy to remove, wont fall.. and im gonna build them a cork bridge hanging from the light supports soon. I have the male in there now and hes driving the girls crazy, chasing them around the tank about 10 times a day, clamping onto the spikes behind their head and riding around the tank on their back. but they are still havin fun!
