Mossy Leaf Chameleon

Jason82 Jun 24, 2003 02:39 AM

I've been looking for a Mossy Leaf Chameleon (Brookesia vadoni), and am wondering if anyone has any idea where I can find one. They aren't allowing the export of animals from Madagascar right now, so it has been very difficult to find one.

With Brookesia spp. now CITES appendix II it is extremely unlikely you we see any Brookesia sp. being offered for quite some time unless they are LTC's or CB's. While Madagascar is allowing animals to be exported they have not issued (or are they expected too) quotas for Brookesia spp. In other words, it is currently doubtful you will be able to obtain this rare and uncommon species.
