I was showing a friend of my fathers all my snakes and when I was showing him how the granites will come out of a hide as soon as the screen comes off and come at a hand and follow it as a feeding response. The second I told him how they never bite though and dont see my hand as food he whipped around 180 degrees and latched my finger. He is kind of in shed and bit without thinking too much. This was totally my fault but I think I will not be as confident they always know the difference next time. Or he was just sick of me making him chase my hand around the cage so he let me know he didnt appreciate me teasing him. I wont do it again so no big deal. He still handles well and does not bite but I cant say i have never been bit by the granites anymore.
