I don't know what to do, but I have to do something.

pythonmomma Aug 14, 2004 06:22 PM

I went to a local pet supply shop in the town I just moved to and I was HORRIFIED by what I saw and I don't know what to do or where to start.

There was a 10gallon tank holding 15 baby Bearded Dragons and 2 adults. One of the adults was laying halfway down with her back legs spread out and she was twitching violently.

Another tank held 7 juvinile leopard geckos all with their tails bitten off. Only about 2 of them were growing tails back but the rest had bloody stubs.

Newts were swimming around in 2 inches of green nasty water.

A baby colombian boa was curled up in an old style reptile cage with no heat.

I about cried. I had just bought a feeder mouse and some mealworms before I went to look at the animals and I am so mad at myself for not looking first.

Any suggestions on what to do will be a great help!

Amanda

Call your local authorities and report a case of animal abuse.
