You could go with anoles or some other small geckos. Most stuff that will live comfortably in a ten gallon is either not very active hence the small enclosure or very small and with some problems. An anole is probably the best thing still for that small of a tank.

Anoles are nice size lizards for a 10 gallon. I have 2 babies that are doing good in the tank. They are arboreal so like lots of branches to climb on. Also active in day so need UVB/UV bulb and a heat sorce. They don't drink out of water bowl so have to mist down the sides of tank couple times a day. Mine are eating pinhead crickets and fruit flies.
I'm new to these anoles. My friends adults have had babies so mine are captive bred. Kingsnake has a very good anole care page. It's recommended 1 anole per 10 gallons. Eventually I want to put my 2 in a little bit bigger enclosure.

a bearded pygmy chameleon.... theuy're like, 3 inches, have a little stumpy tail, do just as well w/o UVB as they do with it, can be kept at room temp with a basking spot, and are aobut the only commercially available chameleon that can be kept in groups and in glass cages. also, as an added bonus, they've got that relly kool tongue, and they blen into surroundings
