Nice pics and it`s a good looking snake. How old do you think he/she is? Is it actually as dark as the pics show? I have one who still has not darken in and has a lot of lightest between the darking saddles. Has it been eating well. You did an execellent job with this snake.

Estimated to be roughly 18 months to 2 years old. The snake is pretty much jet black in color. Hardly no signs of brown at all. There is still just a faint trace of a pattern on him. Skippy took to eating frozen/thawed hoppers right away without any coaxing or teasing (though he prefers no 'audience' around watching). With all the stress he'd been under I didn't want to push right away for feeing a sub-adult mouse. I think I may wind up keeping him due to the wonderful temperment on him - we'll see come fall.
