Hurricane Post Has anyone heard from Cathy Love?

TerriB Aug 14, 2004 10:24 PM

I was wondering if Cathy Love was spared the wrath of Charley. I sure hope so.

I would be willing to bet that she is in Daytona.
At least I would hope so.
That would mean her home was spared.

and we have power, TV, and everything seems fine so far. Unfortunately, some of our friends didn't fare as well.

Some of you probably remember some of the beauties that Steve Roylance has posted. His snake room blew away and last I heard he has only found some of his animals in the back yard. I am sure he will post when he gets things back together. When I talked to him, he didn't know which animals were missing (friends were helping out back home while he was in Daytona) I don't think anyone up his way has power now, and maybe not a phone either. Let's hope everything works out ok for him and a lot of others who weren't too lucky this weekend. Not sure if there is anything we can do to help, but keep it in mind when we hear more.

Thanks to all of you for your concern.

I was in hurricane Andrew and lost everything. Luckily at the time I did not own any snakes. What a nightmare trying to find snakes in a mess like that. I wouldn't wish that headache on anyone. If word surfaces that he needs assitance please let us know. People were very kind in the aftermath of Andrew, I would relish the chance to pass it on.

Glad you're safe.

Sorry to hear about Steve. I hope he is able to find his snakes, that has to be an awful thing to have to go through. My prayers are with him.

Thanks for coming on and letting us know how things are.

>>Kathy,
I am glad to hear you and yours are OK. We were all worried.
At least those of us who didn't make it to Daytona.
That is really bad about Stephen. I have five snakes from him and have really enjoyed dealing with him. I will try to get in touch with him and see if there is anything I can do to help.

had a tree fall on his house and do a lot of damage, but don't know any details. Will post if I hear anything. There are actually a lot of herpers in this area, although most of them are not cornsnake keepers, so you all may not know them. I haven't gotten to talk to all of them yet, so the damage reports aren't complete yet.
