I've got my friend's female dragon, who is about 4 years old. We thought she was a male until 2 years ago when she laid eggs. She laid on newspaper that time. I don't believe she laid any last year, at least I don't remember it my friend telling me that. Today I came home from my Saturday wanderings to see she had laid eggs again. As of now she laid 11 eggs. Most of them looked deflated and mishapen, definetly infertile. 2 looked good, but small. She has never been with a male unless one of mine walked out of his cage at night and went in with her. Either way I still froze those two. I also put her in a plastic bin filled with sand, since that's all I had for her to dig in. Earlier she was digging on and off, but since i've turned out the lights she has stopped digging. Should I leave her in the bin tomorrow, or should I put her back in her tank in the morning? I have a calcium supplement that my friend gave me that she got from the vet the last time she laid eggs. I was told to give it to her if she does, so I will of course be doing that. Do I need to go out tomorrow and buy something else for to lay in, or is she probably done?
I've got 3 males, and i've always had males, so i've never really needed to know much about this.
Just to note, I hate no intention of ever breeding any of them. I am keeping the female for a friend who's going away to college, and i've never had any intention of acquiring a female to breed with. They're pets.
