One of this forum's ATB's is in a reptile shop again after being rehabilitated from a respiratory infection (good on you for doing that). After that it ate at his house, but would not eat at the store. For the longest while I've had a dead hummingbird in my posession to try to scent mice for Mangrove snakes (still haven't tried it), but today I decided to scent a fuzzy for this amazon. You should have seen the interest he put into that fuzzy, he surely knew it wasn't a bird, but also he was putting his face right into it. Finally I got him on a hanging branch (that a friend held) and I held the fuzzy for him and he took it. We then put him back in the cage and he let it go, to go back and eat it within 5 minutes. I'm quite proud and actually hope to purchase this beautiful snake someday soon (though I am broke at the moment and in the immediate future). In a few days I will feed him another, and hopefully get him to eat a large mouse (which he is perfectly capable of) without regurgitation.
