Lineatus eggs

sikorae Aug 15, 2004 09:59 AM

This morning I found a Lineatus egg stuck to a bamboo cane, I have managed to cut the piece of cane with egg attached and put it in the incubator at 78 degrees. I have had eggs before but never managed to get them out before, does anyone have any information on incubation and looking after the young of Lineatus. Thanks.

I dont think your egg is fertile. First of all they lay two eggs at a time unless they are infertile, and also if they are fertile, they lay them on the ground and they arent stuck to anything. Ive had my mossy leaftail lay one single egg stuck to a branch before also, and they arent ever fertile when she does this. It cant hurt to try to incubate it though. I wish you luck.
