I was wondering if u could keep other lizards like uromastyxs or toher desert lizards. Could i keep them with tortoises? I know people say dont mix species but i have mixed my crested gecko, long tailed grass lizard, brown anole and frog in a 20 high vivarium.

No
lizards (even similar desert dwelling reptiles) have many different requirements to keep them happy and healthy. for example temperature gradients and nutritional requirements.

BD's are also solitary animals and there would probably be territorial issues with keeping different animals together.

Besides the above obvious problems, there are also concerns with differents parasites that can make beardies or the orther lizard sick from by transferring bad things from one to the other.

It's not really recommended if for no other reason than just general saftey and health concerns.

hope this helps

and if you see this kind of thing in a pet shop then tell them it's not a good idea and that you won't be back there anytime soon.

this is a lot like what I have seen with fish displays.

many times folks cram things together ... and it works for a while... and then one animal gets sick or grows larger and then you have a problem real fast.

and with reptiles most of them will eat any smaller reptile if they get a chance.

by the way this has to be one of the all time top 5 questions that everyone askes at first.... and Later you will understand how bad the idea of mixing them is....
( unless you are willing and able to create a totaly balanced ecosystem .... size, prey items, light, temp, day length and many other issues, making sure what is compatible with what and only combining animnals that do not compete for the same food etc... ) a big job to do right.... that could cost some big $$$$
