vacation food for RES

do they sell vacation food for my little buddies? im goin out of state for like four days and i dont want em to suffer four days without food. is there vacation or should i just have someone come over and feed em during the time im gone?

Your turtles will be fine for four days without food. Unless they are hatchlings, you should only be feeding them every two or three days when you are home. Just feed them well before you leave and when you get back.

thanks nancy! i guess they will be ok for four days without food. i guess i just worry too much....anyway i cant really have anyone come over everyone seems busy. so i guess ill take your advice.

stider D...this might be good time to introduce some of those greens! Just toss some romaine leaves in before you leave. They may look like snowflakes when you get back.

4 days isn't long at all. When I have left mine bfore I just had someone come feed them everyother day or so (whenever they could). But recently have not been able to find anyone to feed them so I just buy 12 feeder rosie fish and some plants and throw them in there. When I get back there is usually some plants left and only 1-2 fish.
LOL I wish it was that easy for my dog!
