Off Topic, but a question none the less

I'm getting ready to move and I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good reptile shows in the Cincinnati area...I move on the 21st and I'm afraid of going into withdrawals or something....

Thanks

Never been to it, but there's the All Ohio Reptile show...not exactly sure where in Ohio it is. Click on Events at the top of the page and it will take you to a listing of the reptiles shows around the country. Hope you can find one!

Never been to the All Ohio show either, but I've heard that it's not worth it unless you want imports or sub-quality animals.

I'd instead recommend the Kentucky show in Shelbyville. It's probably the closest show near you.

Well, I know Don Hamper is at the All Ohio show and I've heard nothing but good things about him and his animals. Not sure how far away from you it is, but we have the Midwest Reptile show here in Indianapolis, Indiana. It's the only show I've ever been to myself.

Midwest Reptile Show is the only one I've been to before....I'm moving from Indy to Cincy....so I may just have to make the drive back here...or try the one in Kentucky....

Thanks for all your help

I used to go to the All Ohio Show all the time about 10 years ago. There were always alot of nice people and quality breeders there (unless things have changed). Of course, there are always bad vendors at ANY show I attend anymore so you have to be an informed consumer and know what to ask. I also think that the All Ohio show got a bad rap due to the undercover operation that busted alot of vendors for selling some animals without the proper permits or paperwork, which can happen in almost any state anymore given the extremely vague herp laws that are left to subjective interpretation. Anyway, check it out...I don't think its that far from Cinci but its well worth it depending on the time of year you are going.
