Oh No!! Nessy has mites!

happycrook Aug 15, 2004 03:35 PM

So, heres a question... what do I to get rid of them? I'm going to completely clean out her aquarium, bark, hide and all. But how do get rid of the ones on her and prevent them from coming back? Her roommate, No Name, is free and clear as of this morning but I'm worried about him now too.

Thanks in advance!

There are a couple of mite relief sprays you can get..I used Prevent-0-mite for my python. This web site has some great info on those pesky bugs!! www.vpi.com scroll down to war againts mites.

You say Nessy's roommate, does that mean you house them together? Chances are he/she has them too. You should ALWAYS quarantene a new reptile from the resident reptiles when bringing one home. Plus it's much safer not to house snakes together unless they are breeding.

Just my 2 cents.
