Rough green Snake # 2

Buddy25 Aug 15, 2004 04:25 PM

Hey all,
Well my first rough green snake as heard from others passed on without even have lived with me for 6 months. The poor little guy died of an impaction of his own feces .

Well, I recieved another smaller, and healthier rough green. The second day(as told to be fed), he ate like a little pig. (Crickets and ate two waxworms from my fingers.)

Well its been about 4-5 days since his last feeding, and he seems to be hungry but is just passing by the crickets, and waxworms?!? When "hungry" he will go to the bottom of his cage and scoot along. Even going as far as too digging under the bed a beast with his head!

Any ideas?
Thanks Steven

Oh ya;
His tank is nciely planted
And a temperature just above 80 during the day
