Science Project

My daughter has to do a junior high school science project and wants to do it on snakes. She is looking for input for projects. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

My son did one where he weighed snakes throughout breeding season to see if females weight changed during ovulation/gravid.

Thats a good one~ hearing about that is what inspired me to start taking monthly weights on all of my snakes. Just thought it was very interesting. Unfortunatly my kids are not interested enough in my snakes to do a science project on them~ potato batteries here ( Oh well, at least they DO their assignments!

This time of year though~ would be easier to use a neonate and take weekly weights~ weigh feed items as well. Your daughter is welcome to use my charts as well if it will help for long term results. (I did not/do not weigh food items, sorry) So much fun when our kids take an interest in our hobbies! Naturally my sons don't think snakes are cool, cuz MOM thinks they are cool!

~ I'm redesgining that web site~ the info will still be there~ but it may be re-arranged, so have her save off any info she wants so she won't lose it.
