So sad!!!

There is a bearded dragon at the petstore I always go to, who has been there since he was a baby (he's a full grown adult now in a 35 gallon tank) and no one will buy him because he's a little funny looking. A lot of his tail is missing and so are some of his toes but other than that he's in perfect health and really tame. I've wanted him for a long time but haven't been able to buy him because I didn't have enough money to buy him and a cage for him. Well now I have enough and soon I am buying that beardie! This Wednesday I'm moving and then Friday I'm getting married but after all of that craziness (lol) I will have a new little friend to show all of you. But anyway, I just want to remind everyone that even though its fun having beardies with neat colors and patterns and whatnot, we should still love the ones who aren't quite as nice looking because all beardies are wonderful creatures who deserve to be loved. Sorry to babble so much.

What a big heart you have! Congrats on your wedding AND new beardie. I'm sure he'll (the beardie) be very content in his/her new home.

She was a rescue from Petco a few years ago (when the stores were even worse than they are now).

Congrats on your marriage and new "child"! We think of our Beardie as our child since we don't have any kids! It's nice to know the Beardie is going to a good home and will be cared for and loved. Have you thought of a name for it yet?

Given his less than perfect condition and the fact that the petstore has had him for a considerable amount of time, you can probably negiotiate and get a better price than what they're quoting. Best of luck with your new marriage and new "child" Remember to post pictures.
