An adult dragon should be in a tank that is at least 48"x24"...My dragon is 11 mos old and is has outgrown his 55 gallon tank and so I'm building one that is 60"x30". So if I understand you right your dragon was 2 mos old when you got him and 3 mos since you've had him he's 5 mos old...The the tank you have should be fine for now but I'd start investing in something bigger...It's easier if you have the means to build your own tank but if you can't I'd go 55 gallon no less in the next couple months or if the $$$ is there a 75 gallon!!!
As far as the veggies I'm not the expert on that. Pogo is 11 mos old like I said and he doesn't favor his veggies yet either. I'd keep them available all times of the day however because he might eat a few pieces here and there if you don't see him. Pogo is still really big into his crix right too. I'd offer the crix everyday just not as many so you can cut down on the cost of the $$$$!!!!!
