what should I do with these gecko eggs?

Hi! I live in the Dallas area; I just moved from one apartment to another, basically just down the street. When I cleaned out my patio storage closet, I found 3 small hard shelled eggs; I almost swept them up on accident. When I picked them up, I could see a reddish membrane, or vein in the eggs. Originally there was 4 eggs but I accidentally crushed one somehow; I noticed the one I crushed was developing, but it was still to young to make out a body. Anyhow, I didn't want to leave the eggs in the closet because I was sure whoever moved in would most likely crush them. I didn't want to put them down outside in the grass either since they are obviously meant to be hidden away from predators. So instead I took them with me to my new apartment and immediately put them outside in my new storage closet inside a dirt filled flower pot, with the eggs laying on a sock. I can't find very much information about what kind of lizard it is; the closest thing I can find to the description is a mediterrainian gecko, because these guys live in the the cracks of apartments and homes, and come out at night to eat. They are a brownish pinkish color, run pretty fast, have blunt roundish heads and look pretty smooth to the touch. They are about 3 to 5 inches without the tail, full grown. The eggs are about half an inch to an inch long, and basically look like tiny bird eggs. I know they are not anoles, (which are common here too.) NOW for my question, if you didn't get bored by now, lol...should I just leave the eggs to sit there, or is there something special I should do, and when they hatch, where should I let them go? I don't want them to get stuck in the closet without food, so I think I should let them out when they hatch, but I don't know where to leave them. I'm assuming the mother just lays the eggs and leaves, but I wanted to make
sure! Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I appreciate it.

You can set them in between the gap of some stero/TV equipment. That will keep the eggs warm. With any luck ypu will have baby insect eating geckos in your new place. Good luck!
