What size is it? I have seen some snakes get darker in age. But then again I have never found a GopherSnake here in Washington.

-Which is the real reason I am replying. I am wondering if you could give me ANY ADVICE on where they live, whats the best time to find them, and what to look for. I am dumbstruck on finding Bull snakes and Gopher Snakes.

(The age thing is true for some of the snakes I have caught)

hey

it is about 2 1/2 feet and really healthy it eats 2 mice a week.

About finding gophersnakes look on roads with little traffic at
dusk. I find them during the day under wood, rock, and tin.
You cant find bullsnakes in washinton because they live farther east.

If you have anymore questions w/b

Ya, Im guessing its an age thing. My Northern Water Snake was very bright and normal when young, but now 4 years later he is almost a dark chocolate color, with only the belly the same.

-That is what I thought, but the first year I came out here, I found a black snake that looked so much like a Bull snake... I could of sworn on my life it looked like one. But then again, I could be wrong.

*Thanks, I'll try tonight to find one... hopefully.
