Hey guys,
there hasn't been a lot of activity in a while, thought I'd say hello. How is everyone and their Chuck friends? I have a funny/sad story to tell. A little over two weeks ago, My Desert Tortoise dug out of my big lizard pen, and along with him, my pair of Mojave Collareds, my Chuck, and my pair of Desert Iggs. As you might imagine, I was pretty sad, but when I thought all was lost, I heard a rustling near the Desert Willow tree I have in my yard. I took a closer look to find my Igg pair mating. I thought, ah, what the heck. No more cats in the yard, why not just let them roam the yard freely. I see the male more often than the female, when he runs its like a white blur through my yard. Pretty cool. BTW, the tortoise was also found and secured, and as for the others, well, they lived a little over two miles away from me when I found them, so maybe they are out there somewhere..... =) Thought I'd share, so I would like to leave you all with a thought: Tortoises and lizards are awesome display animals, just watch out for the burrowing habits of the tortoise, or you may have yard lizards. Ok I'll talk to you all soon.
