Theoretically, using a simple punnetts square, you would get 1/2 albinos and 1/2 hets. But that is just a rough guesstimate using a punnetts square.

Actually a Punnett's square tells you to expect 50% hets and 50% normals (therefore 100% normal looking snakes).

A Punnett's square isn't a quesstimate. It is a table of probabilities. It tells you that you have a 50% (2/4) probability of any offspring being heterozygous and a 50% chance of any offspring being normal.

Just drawing up a quick Punnett's square for a het albino and an albino, I come up with Aa, Aa, aa, aa which would indicate 50% hets and 50% albinos. I realize this is just an educated guess, but I'm not sure how you come up with 50% normals and 50% hets...

Albino x heterozygous albino would expect to produce
1/2 Aa (look normal, are heterozygous albino)
1/2 aa (albino)

A mating of a normal to a heterozygous albino would expect to produce half normals and half heterozygous albinos (which would look normal).
