best way to shoot photos

g.gartner Aug 16, 2004 01:44 PM

I have a number of babies that I want to take photos of and post here, but when I take pictures inside there is either (a) not enough light or (b) I use a flash and the colors are washed out. I live in miami, so the sun is way too bright during the day to take good photos...any sugestions from you guys would be appreciated. I've tried aiming incandescents on the babies, but it really alters the colors.

alright...thanks
gabriele

and make a frame, stretch some white tissue paper over the frame and use that to filter the sun light... or just shoot when the sun is covered by the clouds.

Hey charles...

thanks man...you certainly are the man (or one of them) when it comes to taking some solid photos of your animals. I just picked up a nice reverse trio (wasn't supposed to be reversed) of suris from Brian...these things are smoking, real nice and he gave me a killer deal. One from the boboXpeaks litter one from the BatsXSal litter and a male from his belnkap cross (I needed a female so I'm trying to reach him to see if he'l let me swap it with an actual girl).

thanks,
peace,
gabriel

Stay inside and open the curtain just enough and experiment, thats the neat thing about digitals. Or block the sun with your body.
