I picked up a pair of really nice looking red bulls at the Daytona expo, I believe they are '04's. I have a few questions, since I am new to Pits. Is this a locality trait or a morph? What area are they found in? How much do babies usually go for? I got my pair for $150 was that a good deal? Thanks

Locality vs. morph depends on which line you bought. I believe Ginter's line are locale snakes (Kingsville, TX), and the Crumbly line was line-bred to exhibit more red.

As for price, if the pair was worth $150 to you, then it was a good deal. I bought my pair in Daytona last year, and I don't even remember if I paid $150 or $250 (I'm pretty sure it was $250). It doesn't matter though -- they are the reddest bulls I've ever seen, and I don't regret paying that for a second.

If you scroll to page 2 of this forum, there is a red bull discussion with lots of photos.
