is using this okay

LeopardGecko05 Aug 16, 2004 02:36 PM

hey everyone,

it's me once again I have yet another question regarding my leo. Here it is: Is it okay to use paper towels, or should I use something else? Because currently I'm using paper towels.

Second Question: My is also doing something I never seen before. What it is doing is sliding her head on the wet paper towel,is that normal?

Last Question: How will my leo peel off the old skin, or should I peel it off myself?

Paper towels are fine and make for easy cleaning. For you leo's skin issues...make a humid hide to help with shedding.

Try to moisten the skin for your leo and it might remove it.

should it be warm, hot, or cold

You say that you have a humid hide... just make sure that you keep it moist... you may have to moisten it every day or every couple of days.

As far as your gecko rubbing it's head on the papertowels was probably trying to remove the old skin that needed to be shed.

If you are going to mist your gecko with water make sure that it's warm water, but I don't recommend it if you have a humid hide.
