Cutting Plexiglass

chupacabra1090 Jun 24, 2003 10:20 AM

What can I use to cut a hole in plexiglass such as the one you can see here?

Will a jig-saw work?

I second the RotoZip and sabre cut drill bit for it. The Sabre bit can be bought at Home Depot for $4. I just did a custom cage and used one. But also get yourself a good straight edge, two C clamps, dry erase marker and a partner to hold it still. That will give you perfect cuts and will look professional. You can go to the image gallery and search by user to view my tank shots (ttreptile1). I have done another one since then ad had really nice results. if yuo need more info, shoot me an e-mail.

Oh, and I wouldn't go with plexi for a monitor. They will have that scratched up in a few days. Just my .02 cents.
