With Sobek when I first got her, no difference but she only got it once a week and she ate daily whole insects, adult rodents etc. Its a bit expensive and its the most appealing canned monitor food out there, but as I said before how do we know whats actually in it, the label says one thing but theres no law saying they have to tell the truth about its contents, as long as it specifies "not for human consumtion" that holds true of all animal foods, what is really in it. Hmmm, Ill stick to whole animals, I know what they are made of.
its ok, all my monitors eat it i have three argus flavi crosses, a bt and a savannah, they all eat it readily, i use it as an alternative to the norm, definately not a staple food source, plus at the pet store i go to it is almost 4 bucks a can, so it could get a little expensive for large monitors.
I use it once a week or so with my Savannah and my Timors just to break the monotony, My Savannah absolutely loves it. Not as much fun watching them eat that as when they're chasing crickets like there's no tomorrow though. Here's my Timor Stripe, think he could get a contract with Zupreem? LOL.
