I think they a great snakes. I've kept them for about 4-5 years now and mine are not aggressive at all. I got them as juvies, and one was a little, but calmed down with minimal handling. They are flighty though. More like a rat snake in their movements.
I had my first clutch of babies hatch this year, and they all are different as far as aggression goes. But they are all calming down with little handling also. Cool snakes to work with. E-mail me if you have any more ?'s.

I have had one for about 3 years and I got him as an adult. He is one of the most gorgeous snakes I own, but he is typically restless all the time. They are incredibly strong for their size and should be handled often. I would definately reccomend feeding them in a seperate box since mine has a feeding response unlike any of my other pythons. They are definately intelligent and interesting to watch and I think they are one of the most underrated pythons available.
