I just have some Indian Star hatched out .There are already growth rings on the shell Is that normal and also it took some 8 months for them to hatch (26.5 - 28 deg.C )
As i transfer the eggs outside after 4 months into a communal hatching site built for incubating more common turtle like my Asian Box, Red ear slider. The Temp outside is on the low side never reaching over 29 de.C So i have not actually see them hatch out.I check the site twice a week .They hatch after a few heavy rain over the past few days (dry spell for last few months)
Any help is much appreciated.
