I am about to purchase a pair of these beautiful creatures. Can anybody give me more information regarding their care.
I would like to know what size and type of habitat they need. Are there any special care tips anybody can give me.

Flame Belly Armadillas or girded lizards, for those who did not know!
Dont know much, males have the bright red or orangey belly.
The females of the species is a bit larger I believe. And not quite as colorful.
They live in the Gorongas Mountains in Mossambic, Africa. They wedge themselves in between rocks, so its hard to get them out, I have chuckwallas, and they use this as protection .
Once in there they puff their body up and they can not be pulled out.
Their basking is approx. 95 - 115 (this is about where all my desert guys temps range.
Thye eat crickets, superworms, mealies (I prefer the supers less chitin and more digestable)
Anyway I really don't know much, so you should serch for a good care sheet.
I wish you well with your new pair when you get them.
Post some pics for us, and let us know when you get them

Thank you
I've been searching for a care sheet but I have not been able to find one for these specific lizards. Any suggestion where I can search.
I will post some pics as soon as I've got them settled in to their new home.
