I got my Dumeril's boa at the end of July. He's great and is settling in really well. I was talking to the owner of the shop where I bought my dum and he said that the snake was born in October of 2003. I think that he got his records from the breeder mixed up because my dum is around 3.5 feet long. Judging by what I've read about dum growth rates, I think that my dum was more likely born in Oct/2002. Does that sound right to you? I have my doubts that a 10-month old Dumerils could be that big, so I'd like to hear from those who have raised dums. Thanks.

it sounds like your dumerils is growing very fast. i also have a 03 born 09/03 and she is about 28 to 30 ins.
