Daytona withdrawal......

Hi there friends,

I would just like to say that I had a blast meeting everyone down in FL. I did not meet one a-hole the entire vacation. It was finally good to match some faces with names/voices.

I would like to thank everybody for the great conversations that we shared, I wish we could do this more often(in person), besides, things usually go smoother over a couple of drinks, eh?...hahaha.

I was kind of upset that I did not get to meet up with as many people from the forums as I would have liked, but I guess much of that was Charley's fault... What an experience...

I highly recommend everyone here to try and attend next years daytona convention, as it continually gets larger and better each year.. This year blew other year's shows away by no comparison(in my opinion), despite the smaller pedestrian traffic..

I've got a plethora of pics that I've gotta upload, and would love to share some with all of you... Cheers everyone, have a great day,

bob

Thanks much for the pic, Bob.
But you just blew my mental image I had associated with the name 'Odatriad'. For some reason, I had a bearded, black haired tall thin guy in my head. hahahahaha Instead, you're a little blond kid. Wow, do I ever feel old now..gee, thanks a lot (not). Maybe we should all be required to show photos with our log on names, LOL.
But I have to ask now, and feel free to say none of your business...how old are you?
Glad you had fun, (and got to hold a lace!)*envy, and thanks for the pics!
D.

Bobs not little, it may have been the angle of the pic, I took, of course I focused on the lacie, hahahahahahahaha.

I found Bob to be very nice. He was very cautious about what he said, but did listen to what others had to say. I do indeed respect his efforts and outlook. I think jumping into a forum like this, would be very very hard. Thanks FR

hahaha... I guess I'm a kid at heart... as for my age, I'm 23...

D-town was a blast, I highly recommend you making the treck down from the land of ice and snow to check out the festivities, and get some floridian rays.... although there was none of that this weekend... Cheers Goon.

ps. I did have a grizzly beard for a while, but the Paul Bunyan look isn't too popular in NYC..hahaha..

BOB IS HOT!

j/k. I don't know he might be. i will get a female opinion in just a sec.

The first time i saw bob's pic a couple months ago i was taken back too, just not what i had him associated with.

and uh bob damnit, don't you remember vanilla sky with jason lee! so don't go around lying about beards not being in style. lol.

careful bobby, posting pics on the forum can attract some different ones and some cool ones, oh it is the internet isn't it?

i mean we may come to find out that lukeskywacker666 is really a 68 year old single wide dwelling forum member stalking hottie!

i'll give you a call tomorrow,

cheers andrew

excellent 'drew...

make sure you book your hotel room in advance(soon), as the Adams Mark Hotel(where all the festivities take place), books up very fast...

I'll talk to you tomorrow...

yeah, will do. if i don't get a room i will stay at my aunt's house outside of daytona. i have heard the adam's mark is a good place and don't want a crappy one. so a house with a pool or the adam's where all the fests are, either way. i am certain that i will probably let myself go a little bit in daytona so having a place where i can crash where everything is at will probably be good, lol.

cheers, andrew

Seeing as I live right in the path of the hurricane, I didn't get to attend until Sunday. Spent Saturday rebuilding horse fences and dragging the remains of my barn roof out of the stalls. Didn't get to meet Bob...now I know what you look like for next year, but I did get to meet Frank and see his beautiful monitors. Hopefully next year I'll get to hang out more and meet more of you all.

I was hoping to make it. The hurricane scared off my driving partner. Would love to meet some of the people here to prove I'm not that big of an idiot. lol
