Hi, I'm new to this forum. I just wanted to show off my new juvenile crested. When I purchased her at the store, I watched her eat two medium sized crickets. I feed my leopards mealworms normally, but the crested doesn't seem to show much interest in meal worms--I've kept count, and barring escapes from the bowl, she seems to be furtively eating them now and then, but never when i'm around. (I've only had her a few days, not even a week). From what I'm reading, however, this is fairly normal--small apetitites (relative to other similarly sized geckoes), and a preference for crickets. That's not too much of a problem though, as I can easily get ahold of crickets. Any thoughts, and was curious as to what one would call her color variation? (At the store she was cream yellowy--but in her new home she tends to be a light orangeish color.)
thanks,
