mr_president Aug 17, 2004 07:55 PM

just a quick question.
when u put your BD out to play in you living room or a room that is not their cage. Do your BD tend to go around and give everything a quick lick? can someone tell me what there doing? checking, marking their territory???

They are just checking how everything is, "tasting" the environment in a sense. Nothing to worry about, signs of a healthy, active dragon!

the only thing you have to worry about is if there is any harmful residue on teh surface they are 'checking out'. Deffinitely make sure you don't bring out your dragon if you just finished wiping things down with cleaners etc. Just a precaution. Also, if you have pest strips/traps, better to either take them out of reach or sectioning off his roaming area so he can't reach them and lick it.
