Has anyone had any experience shipping venemous since Delta stopped allowing them?
What carriers will take them these dyas?
Thanks

There was a rumor going around not very long ago that Delta had decided to stop shipping venomous, and that was caused I believe by a local counter not wanting to accept someone's shipment. It was later stated that the guy operating the counter was acting out of the rules of the company. I shipped a box of venomous snakes through Delta about two weeks ago and it went fine. So unless things have changed in the past two weeks, they still ship them.
Northwest is another option for venomous shipment, but I've found them to be tedious at best. They will not ship anything reptillian if it is over 85F outside, despite whatever cool packs and insulation you use. They also won't ship if it's under 40F. For most part of the country, that's a relatively small window of temps. I initially called them to use them for shipping, as I thought my Delta verification had expired (I was wrong, thankfully), and if I had used them, I would have had to be at the dropoff counter at 5 am so that the flights would not get too hot before it reached MI. There are lots of people that have reported problems with Delta, but I for one much prefer them over Northwest. Also, Delta is quite a bit cheaper than NW.
