I hate to spoil your good day, but that's was apparently happens to Leopards if you raise them at high environmental temps...nothing genetic about it.
HHHMMMMMM.. that sounds like Africa!?!?

I used to believe that the light color was the result of high temperature but have recently discovered for myself that genetics does have a part in the deal (I believed it had a part before but not as big a part as I believe now). I've got a male that I raised indoors for 2-3 years. I put him outdoors expecting him to throw dark bands but the new growth remains white. There was an increase in dark spots but not in a significant amount.
