So who will be going to the NARBC in Chicago??...

mmfrankford Aug 18, 2004 11:35 AM

OK so it's a few months away. I went to it for the first time last year. Man there were some jawdropping beautiful animals there! I'm looking forward to going again this year. And definitely taking my digital camera to take pics.
So is anyone else going. And if you haven't, definitely worth it.

That's how I am when I go to BASS Pro Shops. Take a few dollars for specific items and leave the check book and credit cards at home.
Unfortunately I have only show I have been to is in Birmingham and there isn't enough of a selection there to guard my finances...lol
But, it is getting better. Next time I go I may have to do the same thing.

My favorite show of the year. (Big show).

If you have not been, your in for a real treat. I drive 2 1/2 hours myself but would easily drive 5 or 6 hours to stay both days. It's like reptile paradise.

We were there the first year and the second year. Last year we were ready to go but then had a family emergency and couldn't go. I have been bumbed ever since. We have had our hotel reservations for 6 months now.

I live in Columbus Ohio, so it's about a 8 hour drive. But it's worth it to see some of the top and rare morphs out there.
Hey and to mention it, check out the Serpent Safari at the Gurnee Mills Mall.

Bass Pro in the Gurney Hills mall is right off 294 and I have to try to pass by it without being ensnared. Not to mention I will have to swing by Buddy Guy's blues bar for a few cold ones. And of course some uno's pizza delivered to my room later. And maybe to Cabrini Green to get shot at.That will be one full night. It's one trip my wife wont go on with me.Thank God....Paul.
