Okay....about a 2 months ago, I handled my bp about a day and a half after it ate a nice sized meal. The next day, I found what looked like snake-poo but it was completely dry, and looked like it was made of fibers, even on the inside of it. Spica shed and pooped about 4 weeks ago. She ate 10 days ago. I found another sample of this stuff today in her hide. One small piece was white, with the normal green yellow goo at the end. The other was almost black. Both were completely void of moisture, and looked like they were made of rat hair, except it wasn't just on the outside...it was all the way through the stuff. That's all that it was made of. Anyway...which end do you think it came out of? Today is feeding day, but if my snake is regurgitating, I'll give it a few more days.
Extra info you may or may not need:
She lives in a 40 gal. breeder with a gradient of 93-79 with a UTH and 100watt ceramic bulb. has 3 hides, plenty of fresh water. I use bed-o-beast shredded coconut shell to hold humidity and then cover that with dry aspen. with occasional spraying humidity ranges from 45% - 75%. the feeder rats are always pre-killed and always pounded immediately. my pet store has only had rats that may be slightly larger than i should be feeding. Spica is about 38" long and about as thick as my other snake
She has grown a lot from the 18" she was in January when I got her.
