getting ready real early

I have a pair of San Diego Gophers gophers and was wondering if cooling is necessay to successful breeding.I hear weather there is as beautiful all the time like Camalot . I have been breeding garters so cool down is not a real problem just kinda need a suggested temp, day and night, if necessary. I have looked online but can only find VERY general or "cool down like most pits" which doesn't really help
